Job Details:  

To assist the Depot Manager to manage the workshop to ensure a profitable & efficient site that meets or exceeds customer expectations and STC targets.

The role involves:

  • - Raising of job cards, estimates & invoices as required and update status of jobs on the system in an accurate and timely fashion.
  • - Planning the workload to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • - Liaising with customers regarding service schedules, updates, authorities and completion of work.
  • - Liaising with the workshop to ensure that times booked to jobs are monitored and parts are ordered and available for the job at the correct time.
  • - Processing purchase orders accurately
  • - Ensuring that the site is tidy, housekeeping standards are maintained and site is secure.
  • - Ensuring that all equipment is maintained in a proper fashion.
  • - Ensuring all Health & Safety arrangements are in place
  • - Promoting Health and Safety within the depot
  • - Undertake any reasonable duty specified by the Depot Manager and Company Directors.

The ideal candidate will have an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and ideally hold a full driving licence.

Attention to detail is paramount and the ability to communicate well with all staff, customers and management is important.

Experience of or an interest in the truck and trailer industry would be an advantage.

  • Hours Monday – Friday 8am – 6pm, with alternate Saturdays 7am-12pm
  • Salary dependent on experience
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Company uniform provided
  • Auto pension enrolment after 3 months
