Role Description

Duties:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
- Mix paints and other materials according to specifications to achieve the desired colour and finish.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during the painting process.
- Conduct touch-ups and repairs as needed to maintain the quality of work.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organised throughout the painting process.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while working on-site.
Required Certification & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Painter or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate power tools effectively.
- Proficient in using hand tools for preparation and application tasks.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during the job.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- A valid driver’s licence may be advantageous for travel between job sites.
