Role Description
HGV Technician required to work in a busy Trailer/HGV workshop, previous experience is essential.
Duties:
Work to include carrying out service and maintenance of trailers, HGV and LCV.
Required Certification & Experience:
- Must be conversant with current working methods, including MOT Preparation & Trailer and Vehicle diagnostics.
- Experience with DAF vehicles would be beneficial as would a sound knowledge of LCV Maintenance and Repair procedures.
- Experience of on-site inspections and attending breakdowns preferable.
- HGV 1 licence is preferable but not essential.
- City and Guilds / NVQ L3 in HGV Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or Time served Technician.
