We are looking for an outstanding HGV Technicians to work in our busy HGV Workshops, previous experience in this area is essential.

Requirements:

Must be conversant with current working methods, including:

• MOT Preparation
• Vehicle and Trailer diagnostics
• Carrying out service and maintenance of predominantly HGV but also Trailers and LGV as per depot procedures
• Experience of onsite inspections and attending breakdowns preferable
• Complete job sheets and inspection sheets with full write up of tasks completed

Required licence or certification:

• Level 3 NVQ / City and Guilds 1,2,3 Qualification or equivalent in HGV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance
• Driving Licence
• HGV 1 licence is preferable but not essential

Job Type: Full-time

Hours : Mon – Fri 08:00 – 18:00, with alternate Saturdays 07:00-12:00 (47.5 hours with 30 mins unpaid lunch break)

Overtime paid at 1.5 (any hours over 47.5)

Weekend on call rota to cover breakdowns – approx 1 in 4 weekends
